All Dressed Up...

...and no place to go!  Well, maybe to my craft room!  LOL!  So the other day, my friend and fellow teammate, Jennifer Dove, posted a card for a company I had not heard of and I just fell in love with it!  The name is All Dressed Up Stamps and it's an Etsy shop.  OMG!  Each image is adorable and I would love to have them all!  Unfortunately it's not in my budget at the moment after being out of work from a knee surgery, but, down the road, some of those little darlings WILL be mine!  Luckily for me, Wendy, the owner, was kind enough to put a few freebies in her shop so any and all can play along on her challenge blog.  They also have a facebook page that I've joined and, talk about a warm welcome, wowzers, I was greeted in such a friendly manner.  That always puts a smile on my face!  So, on to my project and, hopefully, it will put a smile on your face!  This is Abi Ballerina, one of the super cute freebies!

Isn't she just too cute!?  I love her!  And, she's a freebie!!  You really need to go check out her shop, they're all very reasonable priced and all adorable!

I would like to thank Crafter's Companion as they gifted me with a complete set of Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and the cool marker storage trays to hold all of them!  This is my first post/project using these markers and I love them!  If you haven't tried out the new version of Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, you really should.  You can't beat the price, and their quality is excellent.  I was very pleased with how easy it was to blend the colors and I like the feel of the marker in my hand when coloring.  I'm looking forward to creating many projects with them in the future.

Here's what I used to create this project:

My Mind's Eye™ Lost & Found Market Street 6x6 Paper Pad
Bazzill® Cardstock
Neenah® Classic Crest™ Solar White Cover Stock
Celebrate It™ Paper Flowers - White
Tim Holtz® Distress Inks™ in Antique Linen and Tattered Rose
Queen & Co.® Pearls
Tulle
Beacon Adhesive® Zip Dry™
Glue Dots™
     FS1, 2, 4, 8, 9
     EB4
     TN7
     GB2, 4, 9
     PP1, 3
     CR2, 3
     IG1, 2

Here's how I created this project:

Print off image on Neenah® and color with markers
Trim image to desired size and edge with Tattered Rose Distress Ink™ all around and Antique Linen on the inner white space, set aside
Create card base from Bazzill® with a tent fold
Trim patterned papers as shown and adhere with Zip Dry™ to card base
Adhere image to card
Color white roses and white tulle with markers
Attach both tulle and roses with Glue Dots™
Color white pearls and attach

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, the current challenge for this two-week period is Monochrome, I'm going to enter my sweet little Abi Ballerina in the current All Dressed Up Challenge, if you want to enter, you can find it here!

That's it for today!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.  Have a blessed day!

Hugs,
Lea
