Today is Stampendous Dreamweaver Thursday and I'm using a fun stencil called Swirly Heart.  It's perfect for creating a Valentine for that someone special.

Using the same Q-Tip, smudge some of the Metallic FX in various spots around the paper.

Are you totally loving the Stampendous Design Team hop with Imagine Crafts AND our new product sneak peek.   While I haven't used any of the Radiant Neon products for this project, I've used quite a few other inks from Imagine Crafts, after all, they are my favorites!  For my canvas project today, I’ve used one of my very favorite new stamp sets, Fashion Dame!  I love this set designed by Nathalie Kalbach with it’s awesome stencil that’s included!  I love my little canvas I've created, too!

Here’s what I’ve used to create this canvas:

Faber-Castell® Gelatos™ in Butterscotch, Chocolate and Red Cherry

Copic® Markers: E50, E51, E53, E93, R05, C5
Liquitex® Matte Gel Medium
Deli Paper

Here’s what I did to create this canvas:

Cover canvas with Butterscotch Gelato™.
Lay stencil on upper half and, using a sponge dauber, ink canvas with Habanero Ink.
Repeat process on lower half of canvas leaving a gap in the middle.
Add Red Cherry and Chocolate Gelatos™ around sides of canvas.
Stamp Eiffel Tower and label stamps onto deli paper.
Tear around stamped image and, using gel medium, adhere to canvas.
Stamp Fashion Dame and color her with markers.
Stamp jacket and skirt onto patterned paper with purple ink.
Fussy cut girl and clothing.
Using gel medium, adhere girl and clothes to canvas.
Stamp text stamp in gold ink randomly around canvas.

New Stencils, New Stamps, New Fun!

What a fun week we’ve been having on the Stampendous Design Team with Imagine Crafts AND new product release.   For my card today, I’ve used my very favorite Dreamweaver stencil ever!  I love this stencil and it’s really cool that it has a matching die, I know you’re going to want, no, NEED, them both!

Here’s what I’ve used to create this card:

Blue Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Look at all the yummy texture!!

Here’s what I did to create this card:

Using a stipple brush, cover a large section of the white paper with blue ink for sky.
Tape stencil to paper and apply gray ink.
Using a small flat paint brush, add espresso ink along edges to add some visual depth.
Mix blue, orange, green and yellow Amplify! inks to get two shades of green.
Stipple on Amplify! mixes for dark and light sections of leaves, heat to puff.
Paint on Amplify! mixes for grass, heat to puff.
Add little dots of blue Amplify! and heat for flowers
Create card base with a tent fold and attach card front.
(Here’s where I decided I wanted the green mixture to go all the way to the bottom of the card, so, I added more of the mix and heated it.)
Stamp sentiment with blue ink.
