...wonderful time of the year! Sort of! That's right, Dreamweaver Stencils is celebrating Christmas in August! We want to make sure you have plenty of time to create your crafty Christmas cards and there's no time like the present to get started! Here's my creation:
So, don't forget, put a reminder on your calendar or in your phone and come check out all the fun inspiration next week! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again soon!
Using Dreamweaver Stencil LJ 897 Rhinestone Wreath, I taped it down and stenciled in my ink color with a 1/8" Dreamweaver stenciling brush. Once I was finished adding the ink, I used Dreamweaver Translucent Embossing Paste over just the wreath portion of the stamp. I let that paste dry, taped the stencil back down covering the wreath portion and using Matte Black Embossing Paste, I paste embossed the sentiment. I set it aside a second time to dry and once it was completely dry, I trimmed it down to the size I wanted. Using Bazzill, I created my card base, my patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and my ribbon is May Arts. My inks I used were Memento. I really like the simplicity of this card. Not too plain, not too fussy, just right! Here's the list of lovely ladies playing today, be sure to leave some love!
Heads up! We're jumping across the pond next week for another blog collaboration!
It's the annual Dreamweaver and Woodware Christmas in August extravaganza week!
