May Arts Ribbon Hop

We’ve got lots going on this week to keep your Summer Vacation hopping with inspiration. We’re hopping all week with one of our very favorite craft partners, May Arts Ribbon.  They’re an extremely generous sponsor for us here at Stampendous and our Design Team is absolutely in love with their gorgeous ribbons, cords, strings and specialty items. You’ll find loads of beautiful May Arts on most of our samples.

Now you’ve got a chance to check out our Design Team Inspiration as well as the Ribbonistas over at the May Arts Blog.  Be sure to comment and tell us where you’re from, because our Australian Distributor, The Stencil Specialists, is sponsoring a prize for one friend “down under” to win a Stampendous Stamp, a Dreamweaver Stencil and a surprise goodie from their terrific stock of Stampendous merchandise!

There are Stampendous prize packages up for grabs. THREE U.S. commenters will receive a prize of their choice in any one roll of ribbon from May Arts and a $20 reward card. Tell us what state you live in when you comment.   Here are the Stampendous Official Rules.  Also, be sure to stop by the May Arts blog because they are giving away a prize, too! How’s that for an amazing week of prizes!

Here's my card for today:

Here's what I used to create this card:

Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®
Copic® Markers
Red Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Black Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives
Scrapbook Adhesives® 3D Foam Mounting Squares by 3L®

Here's what I did to create this card:

Create A2 horizontal card base with a top fold from red cardstock
Trim a piece of white paper to 4" by 5 1/4"
Stamp Picnic Ants repeatedly on white paper, filling entire piece
Stamp Lunch Line onto white paper, color with markers and trim as shown
Trim a mat for image from black cardstock and adhere colored image to mat
Cut a piece of red ribbon and a piece of black ribbon long enough to wrap ends around back
Layer ribbons onto Picnic Ants piece and secure ends on back of paper
Adhere all layers as shown using foam squares to mount top image

Here's the list of my teammates playing along today:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'm participating in a fun blog hop tomorrow as we celebrate the 150th birthday of Alice in Wonderland.  Would love to see you come back by for a visit.  Until then, have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Lea
