Wicked Wednesday with Lemon Shortbread

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and today our sponsor is Lemon Shortbread.  Our theme this week is Birthday Girl and I've used Cute Balloon Girl.

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Lemon Shortbread© Cute Balloon Girl
Stampendous® Royal Heart Quotes Perfectly Clear™ Stamps
Copic® Markers
Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink Pad by Tsukineko®
Memento™ Summer Sky Ink Pad by Tsukineko®
Classic Crest™ Solar White by Neenah®
Birthday Girl™ Collection's Dancing Queen by Bella Blvd.®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image, color with markers and trim as shown.
Lightly edge trimmed image with blue ink.
Trim a piece of patterned paper as a mat for image as shown.
Trim an ATC base from opposite side of patterned paper.
Adhere image to mat and then adhere to base.
Stamp sentiment, trim as shown and edge with pink marker.
Adhere sentiment to ATC.

I really wanted to keep this one with a soft pastel look and lots of white.  Because it was so light, I used teal paper to photograph it against so it would show up more.  I have to say, I love the way this turned out.  She just kind of pops off the paper.

Thanks for stopping by!  I would love for you to play along with us this week.  Let's celebrate a Birthday Girl!  Have a blessed day!

Hugs,
Lea

Wicked Wednesday with Lemon Shortbread

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and our sponsor this week is Lemon Shortbread.  The theme is "Seeing Red" and I've used the Baking Love Cupcake Girl Digi Stamp.  All these food names are making me hungry, LOL!  I do love the images from Lemon Shortbread, they're all adorable!

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Copic® Markers
Neenah® Classic Crest™ Solar White
Bo Bunny® Love Letters Collection 6x6 Paper Pad
Roselle Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Antique Linen Distress Ink Pad
XS Black PITT Pen by Faber-Castell®
Stickles™ Red and Burgundy Glitter Glue
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image, color and trim to desired size.
Trim cardstock for ATC base.
Trim patterned paper 1/8" smaller than ATC.
Adhere layers as shown.
Write sentiment.
Add glitter glue with burgundy on left edge and red filling in remaining space of each heart.
Set aside for glitter glue to dry.

This would make a really sweet Valentine for the kiddos and it's super easy to create.  We would love for you to play along and show us how you're "seeing red!"  Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek!  Have a blessed day.

Hugs,
Lea

Wicked Wednesday with Lemon Shortbread

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and this week our sponsor is Lemon Shortbread Digi Stamps.  My image is Rose Wavy Hair and our theme this week is "Something New."  Well, that's an easy one with the New Year upon us!  I love the vintage feel of this image, she reminds me of the old-fashioned images you used to see on old Valentine's Day cards.

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Copic Markers
Gelly Roll White Gel Pen
Neenah® Classic Crest Solar White Cover Stock
Pink Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
May Arts Ribbon®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Overlay sentiment onto image and print.
Color image with markers and trim to desired size.
Trim a piece of pink cardstock for ATC base to 3.5"x2.5".
Create a small bow and adhere to corner of image.
Adhere image to ATC base.

I do hope you like my little ATC, I think she's kind of sweet and simple.  Like me!  Bwahahahaha!  Be sure to play along with us this week, I look forward to seeing your creations!  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Lea

Wicked Wednesday With Lemon Shortbread

Sounds pretty tasty, don't you think?  Yeah, so, it's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and this week our sponsor is Lemon Shortbread.  It's really hard for me to focus on stamping when I see their name because it makes me want a cookie!  LOL!  I love lemon flavored goodies.  So, back to stamping!  The image I've used is "Owl On A Branch" and our theme this week is to create an ATC with text added.  Here's my ATC:

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Copic® Markers
Tim Holtz® Distress Ink in Chipped Sapphire by Ranger®
Perfect Pearls™ Mists in Sunflower Sparkle by Ranger®
Scrap of Little Yellow Bicycle® Paper
Zip Dry Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image on paper and again on acetate
Cut paper image to 2 1/4"h x 3 1/4"w
Trim image on acetate close to edges of image to use as a mask
Color image with markers, add a yellow moon and then dust with distress ink
Place mask over image and stamp text stamp around image
Remove mask and add drips of Perfect Pearls™ by removing sprayer and tapping it over image
Trim base paper to ATC size and adhere the image to the base
Run edges of base over the gold ink pad

So, easy peasy, right?!  If you're an owl and/or tree lover like I am, then you'll want this sweet image. The other Lemon Shortbread images are equally sweet and so much fun to color!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll see you tomorrow with a post for Stampendous.  We're collaborating with Faber-Castell this week and I'm posting on Thursday and Friday.  We also have some great prizes, so, come check it out, otherwise, see you next Wednesday!

Hugs,
Lea
