Wicked Wednesday with AMB Illustrations

It's time for another Wicked Wednesday ATC Blog Challenge and this week our sponsor is AMB Illustrations.  We've got a fun theme this week, Christmas in July!  The image I've used is from the set Christmas Birds, one of several adorable birds in a set mixed with Christmas decor.  They're all super cute and it was not easy to pick just one to feature.

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Copic® Markers
My Mind's Eye® 'Tis the Season
Neenah® Classic Crest™ Solar White
Stampendous® Chunky White Embossing Enamel
Stampendous® Kaleidoscope Sparkly Embossing Powder
VersaMarker™ Watermark Pen by Tsukineko® for Imagine Crafts®
Staedtler® Black Pen
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image, color and fussy cut the top have of the image only.
Trim your patterned paper for the base to ATC size.
Adhere trimmed image to base.
Sprinkle on chunky embossing enamel and heat.
Using the VersaMarker Watermark Pen, add ink across the top of the "snow drifts" and add Kaleidoscope embossing powder and heat.
Write message in corner with black pen.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  We would love for you to join us this week for our Christmas In July challenge.  I'll see you again soon!

Hugs,
Lea

Happy...

...Birthday to someone very special!  There are some people that come into your life through social media connections that you never get to meet in person.  In spite of that, you become friends and that friend creates a special nook in your heart and you know they're there to stay.  Such is the case with my Stampendous teammate, Janelle!  She is such a sweetheart of a friend and, bless her heart, she's been given the task of keeping the team in line for our fearless leader, Laura!  We joke about herding cats on a regular basis!  Can you imagine what it's like dealing with a bunch of artists week after week!  LOL!  Janelle is a total saint and we all love her!

To honor Janelle on her special day, the design team has put together a fun hop just for her! Here's my card using the new all-in-one stamp, Birthday Balloons.

Did You Hear Something?

Welcome to the summer hop of mixed media fun with Nathalie Kalbach and her fabulous Foam, Cling Rubber Stamp and Stencil Sets made for Stampendous!  I really wanted to create something fun for my granddaughter.  When I first saw the elephant set, I immediately thought of Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss.  So with that being said, here’s my fun Horton inspired canvas.  You’ll notice that I didn’t create my elephant just like Horton, however, he’s pretty close.

Here’s what I used to create this canvas:

8”x10” Canvas Board by Nicole™

Here’s a list of my teammates playing along today:

Prizes!

There are three lucky commenters during the hop that will each win a prize package that includes all three of Nathalie Kalbach’s Foam, Cling Rubber and Stencil Stamp sets. But WAIT! This is open to everyoneWe’ll announce winners on Monday June 20.
To be eligible, comment on the Stampendous blog and that of each designer’s post for the hop this week. Each comment is an entry! Give a shout out to your place of residence, we want to see how far our hop goes around the world!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoy the hop and, who knows, you might just win a prize!  Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you again soon.

Hugs,

Lea

Shipwrecked Sailboat

Who’s ready for a trip to the beach?   Me!  Me!  Me!  Can you see me waving my arm like a lunatic?!  I am soooo ready for a trip to the beach and Stampendous has some wonderful images to take you there, at least in your mind!  Let’s go sailing, preferably without becoming shipwrecked like this poor soul!  Actually, that might not be so bad right now!!

Here’s what I used to create this card:

Stampendous Products:

Other Products:
Memento™ Toffee Crunch Ink Pad by Tsukineko®
Copic® Markers:  B000, B23, B24, B26, B52, C0, C1, C4, C5, C6, C7, E41, E42, E43, R24, R27, R29, T0, YR23, YR24
Sandy Beach Cardstock by My Colors®
Scrapbook Adhesives® 3D Foam Squares by 3L®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here’s what I did to create this card:

Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4 1/8” x 5 1/4” to stamp boat image.
Ink boat image with beige ink and carefully wipe ink away from two spots on sails to create faux rips in sails.
Stamp boat in the right center of your card base and color boat only.
Swipe VersaMark ink onto same paper to create beach.
Add embossing powder, tap off excess and heat remaining powder.
Using markers, create water and sky scene.
Create an A2 card base with a tent fold.
Adhere image to card base.
Stamp sentiment onto a piece of white paper with beige ink.
Trim a mat for image and adhere layered sentiment to card front.

Here’s a list of my teammates playing along today:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have we whet your appetite for a beach trip?  I know I’m looking forward to my beach trip in July!  In the meantime, have a wonderful weekend!

Wicked Wednesday with Vera Lane Studios

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and this week our sponsor is Vera Lane Studios.  VLS is one of my favorite digi companies.  Janet, the owner, has the sweetest, most whimsical style and I truly love all of her fun and quirky images.  For this challenge, Something in the Sky, I've used The Love Boat and Pleiades Whimsical Star Gazer.

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Neenah® Classic Crest™ Solar White Cover Stock
Copic® Markers
Stormy Sky Distress Ink by Ranger®
Blue Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
E-Z Runner® from Scrapbook Adhesives® by 3L™
3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives® by 3L®

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

I printed the main image, colored it with markers and trimmed it to 3 1/4" x 2 1/4".
I printed the moon and stars on the same sheet as the main image, colored them and cut them out.
I trimmed the blue cardstock to ATC size and adhere the main image to the ATC base.
Using foam squares, I trimmed them into small enough pieces to fit behind each star and the moon and attached them to the ATC.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you play along with our theme of Something in the Sky!  In the meantime, have a blessed day!

Hugs,
Lea
