Got Ribbon?

We’ve got lots going on this week to keep your Summer Vacation hopping with inspiration. We’re hopping all week with one of our very favorite craft partners, May Arts Ribbon.  They’re an extremely generous sponsor for us here at Stampendous and our Design Team is absolutely in love with their gorgeous ribbons, cords, strings and specialty items. You’ll find loads of beautiful May Arts on most of our samples.

Now you’ve got a chance to check out our Design Team Inspiration as well as the Ribbonistas over at the May Arts Blog.  Be sure to comment and tell us where you’re from, because our Australian Distributor, The Stencil Specialists, is sponsoring a prize for one friend “down under” to win a Stampendous Stamp, a Dreamweaver Stencil and a surprise goodie from their terrific stock of Stampendous merchandise!

There are Stampendous prize packages up for grabs. THREE U.S. commenters will receive a prize of their choice of any one roll of ribbon from May Arts and a $20 reward card. Tell us what state you live in when you comment.   Here are the Stampendous Official Rules.  Also, be sure to stop by the May Arts blog because they are giving away a prize, too! How’s that for an amazing week of prizes!

Without further ado, here's my card for today:

Here's what I used to create this card:

Memento™ Rose Bud Ink by Tsukineko®
Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®
Copic® Markers - RV10, RV52, RV55, RV17; YG11, YG13, YG17
Green Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Scrapbook Adhesives® 3D Foam Mounting Squares by 3L®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this card:

Create an A2 card base with a top fold from green cardstock
Trim a piece of white paper to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to stencil
Using a 1/2" stencil brush, add pink ink
Stamp flower on white paper and color with markers
Die cut flower
Trim ribbon to width of stenciled background paper
Cut two leaves from ribbon
Adhere ribbon to background paper
Adhere background paper to card base
Glue on leaves
Using foam squares, adhere flower to card front as shown

Here's the list of my teammates that are playing along today:

Thanks for stopping by today!  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for our final hop for the week.  In the meantime, have a wonderful day and I'll see you again soon!

Hugs,
Lea
