Summer Fun with Spellbinders

It’s summer time and we are hopping with some fabulous companies in the Summer Road Trip Partner Hop with Spellbinders.  Stampendous Stamps is hopping all three days with some fabulous summer inspiration from the design team and today two of our designers are featured with tutorials using some new Spellbinders products! How fun is that!

Spellbinders is having a great giveway during this hop with three daily winners and one grand prize winner! Check out the details here.  Stampendous rules can be found here,  Official Rules   Here's my card for today:

Here's what I used to create this card:

Bo Bunny® Barefoot & Bliss
Memento™ Danube Blue Ink Pad by Tsukineko
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this card:

Create A2 card base with a top fold from yellow cardstock
Trim a piece of mixed media white paper to 4" x 5 1/4
Tape stencil to white paper to secure and using a stencil brush, add ink
Remove stencil and set aside
Using the #2 Hexagon die, cut out 7 hexagons from a variety of papers
Adhere hexagons to stenciled card front as shown
Trim hexagon pieces that hang off card front
Stamp sentiment with blue ink as shown
Adhere card front to card base
Wrap string burlap around top of card twice and tie in a big bow

Here are my teammates that are playing along today:

Feature Designer – Tenia Nelson
Feature Designer – Lyn Bernatovich

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you have enjoyed our little hop with our awesome crafty partners!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another post to celebrate some May Arts Ribbon love.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Lea
