Feathers

Today I'm sharing one more Stampendous Spring Catty Sneak Peek!  I've used the new Feathers rubber stamp as well as one of the sentiments from our new Brushed Wishes Perfectly Clear Stamp Set.  All of the sentiments are awesome, I know you'll love this set!  I'm nuts about the new Feathers Rubber Stamp!  I love to find feathers when I'm out for a walk.  They're like a little token of friendship left behind just for me.  I really enjoyed creating this card, especially adding all the fun sparkle at the end.  Nothing dresses a card up better than a combination of mica and glitter.  While not new, the Stampendous Gold Lux Mix is the perfect blend!

Here's what I used to create this card:

Stampendous Products -

R309 Feathers Rubber Stamp
SSC1272 Brushed Wishes Perfectly Clear™ Stamps Set

Other Products -

Sky Cardstock by My Colors®
Menagerie Paper Pad by Idea-ology®
Frayed Burlap Distress Ink by Ranger®
May Arts Ribbon®
E-Z Runner® Adhesive by Scrapbook Adhesives™
3D Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives™
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives
Copic® Markers (B37, B41, B91, B93, BG23, BG72, E01, E21, E30, E50, E51, E57, E70, E74)

Here's what I did to create this card:
  1. Stamp image with black ink on white paper
  2. Color image with markers
  3. Trim image closely, distress and ink edges of paper
  4. Stamp sentiment with brown ink on white paper
  5. Trim sentiment closely, distress and ink edges
  6. Trim blue cardstock in an A2 size with a tent fold and lightly distress edges
  7. Trim a mat for image from blue cardstock, distress edges
  8. Trim patterned cardstock for background as shown and distress edges
  9. Adhere image to mat
  10. Adhere ribbon as shown and set aside
  11. Adhere all layers as shown
  12. Adhere sentiment to card front with foam squares
  13. Using glue, adhere Lux Mix where desired
Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you've enjoyed our Sneak Peek Week!  I've had fun sharing two of my favorite cards with you.  This weekend begins our month-long celebration of Halloween and I can hardly contain myself!  I do hope you'll come back and celebrate with us!  See you soon!

Hugs,
Lea
