Meant to Bee

Stampendous® has celebrated a week-long Bee Mine theme and, of course, I had to add my card to the hive!  I really had fun with this Honeycomb Wishes set and tried very hard to mimic a hive hidden in behind some barn wood.  This set also has some wonderful sentiments.  I love it!!

  1. Stamp honeycomb stamp on white paper with brown ink and color.
  2. Stamp wood stamp on white paper with gray ink and trim to edges of stamp.
  3. Stamp bees on white paper, color and fussy cut, snip wings off.
  4. Ink bee stamp with PITT pen and stamp onto acetate twice, fussy cut each one.
  5. Stamp sentiment in black ink and die cut.
  6. Die cut a mat for sentiment in yellow cardstock.
  7. Cut a hole in the center of the wood stamp and snip a jagged edge around hole, add distress ink around image and edges of hole.
  8. Make an A2 card base with a tent fold from yellow cardstock.
  9. Trim patterned paper as shown.
  10. Adhere all layers as shown.
  11. Ink bee legs and antennas with PITT pen and stamp onto card.
  12. Adhere layered bees to card front.
Thanks for stopping by today to have a look.  I really appreciate each and every one of you.  A special thank you to those who  take the time to comment!  Hope you have a blessed day!
