Hi folks! This is a quick card I made for a fun Steampunk Challenge at Simply B Stamps. Isn't she adorable!?
Here's how I did this cute card:
Here's how I did this cute card:
- Printed my digi stamp with my laser jet and colored her with Copic Markers
- Trimmed my image to the size I wanted and added shabby shutters distress ink from Tim Holtz
- Created my card base of Bazzill to 5" x 5 1/2"
- Cut my base patterned paper from Bo Bunny (the gears) coming in a 1/8th of an inch all around
- Cut my striped patterned paper to frame my image on
- Using metal heat duct tape, I cut out two gears with a Spellbinders die
- I cut one gear from the patterned paper as an accent
- Using ScorTape, I adhere all my layers
- The gear dies were adhesive backed already so I off-set the backing paper with the tape gears and adhered them to the card (I didn't want to waste the tape backing!)
- I adhered the patterned paper gear and DONE!
I hope you like her! Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs!
Lea
