Trick or treat, smell my feet, make a card that's really neat! Yeah, okay, that was as corny as it gets, I know! Couldn't resist! Tomorrow is Halloween and I want to make sure you're ready, so here's my treat!
I love this Stampendous® stamp, Picket Pumpkins! I know it's been out for a year already but it's a favorite of mine and I just had to use it. I paired it with Witching You, which is new, for the sentiment. I stamped my main image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copics. I did go back over my picket fence with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint in, you guessed it, Picket Fence! Love the irony! Anyway, once my paint was dry, I trimmed the stamped image down to size and using Bazzill I created my tent fold card base as well as a mat for my pumpkins. I cut my My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose patterned paper to fit, added some May Arts ribbon and created my sentiment. I inked up just the Happy Halloween portion of the stamp and stamped it on a piece of scrap Neenah. I brushed on some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spiced Marmalade, added a mat, then, using Zip Dry, I adhered it all together!
When it's a stamp I really love, like this one, it's always a pleasure to create a card. I certainly enjoyed putting this one together. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll stop back by tomorrow when I'll have one last Halloween card using Dreamweaver Stencils. See you soon!
Hugs,
Lea
