Wicked Wednesday with Alicia Bel

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and this week our sponsor is Alicia Bel.  Our theme is Witches, Bats and/or Black Cats and my image today is Berta Barton.  She's such a fun image, of course, all of Alicia's images are awesome!

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Copic® Markers
Staedtler® Pigment Liner 308
Doodlebug Design Inc™ Haunted Manor 6x6 Paper Pad
Neenah® Classic Crest® Solar White Cover Stock
Lavender Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Milled Lavender Distress Ink by Ranger®
May Arts Ribbon - Puffy Bats
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image, color, trim closely and edge with distress ink
Use a scrap of white to write sentiment, trim and edge with distress ink
Create ATC base from lavender cardstock
Trim patterned paper to 2.25" w by 3.25" h
Adhere all layers as shown
Attach puffy bat

I love the colors I've used on this ATC, the ultimate Halloween colors!  I simply love this time of the year.  If you're a Halloween freak like me, let me know!  It's always fun to find like-minded ghoulfriends!  Yeah, okay, that was hokey!  LOL!  Hope you'll come and play along with us this week!  See you again soon!

Hugs,
Lea

It’s Day 10 of the Smeared Ink 31 Days of Halloween with Stampendous.  Today I’m posting a card using Owl Tombstone, another creepy cool stamp from Stampendous.  Don’t you just love the rats running from the owl?  I know I do!

Tim Holtz® Distress Ink in Weathered Wood by Ranger®
Terracotta Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Green Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
ZipDry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives™

Here's what I did to create this card:

Stamp image and color.
Trim image to fit and add distress ink.
Randomly add embossing enamel around image and heat from underneath
paper.
Trim Terra Cotta cardstock and adhere image.
Create an A2 card base with a tent fold.

Here Kitty Kitty

At Stampendous we’re having such a good time haunting the internet this week!  It’s my favorite time of the year and I love sharing fun and/or spooky Halloween cards.  This one was a lot of fun to create, kinda like a Halloween party on a card!

Here’s what I used to create this card:

Stampendous:

Plus:
Chameleon™ Markers (PR4, YG3, BK4)
StazOn™ Ink in Cactus Green by Tsukineko®
Tim Holtz® Dusty Concord Distress Ink by Ranger®
Ribbon by May Arts
Lime Green Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Dark Purple Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Black Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
ZipDry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives™

Here’s what I did to create this card:

Stamp Kitty Skirt image with black ink onto white paper, color and trim closely.
Stamp hat from Witchy Legs with black ink onto white paper, color and trim closely.
Stamp sentiment with green ink onto white paper and trim closely.
Add distress ink to all three images, set aside.
Create an A2 card base with a tent fold from green cardstock.
Trim a piece of purple cardstock for background.
Create mats for each stamped image from black cardstock.
Trim a piece of green net ribbon, wrap ends around center of purple cardstock and adhere to back.
Put all layers together as shown and adhere.
Add glue randomly on front of card and sprinkle on color fragments, shake off excess.
Set aside to dry.

Dreamweaver Spookiness

We're having a hauntingly good time on the Stampendous Design Team this week!  Dreamweaver Thursday is no exception!  I've created a card for today with the coolest creepiest critter made with a Dreamweaver Stencil, a spider!  I actually kinda creeped myself out with this one as I'm horribly afraid of spiders.  Yikes!

And, here's a close-up so you can see how sparkly the spider web is:

Here's what I used to create this card:

VersaMarker™ Watermark Ink Pen by Tsukineko®
Memories™ Mists Iridescent Spray
Black Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Doodlebug Design Inc.™ Haunted Manor 6x6 Paper Pad
3D Foam Mounting Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this card:

Trim a piece of black cardstock, lay stencil over top and spritz with mist, allow to dry
Paste emboss spider over web with silver paste, set aside to dry
Trim a piece of patterned paper to fit behind stenciled piece
Create an A2 card base with a tent fold from black cardstock
Ink stamps with VersaMarker pen and stamp onto black scrap of paper
Add embossing powder and heat
Create a mat for sentiment from patterned paper
Put all layers together as shown
Using foam squares, attach matted sentiment to card front

I really like the dramatic black and silver/gray color scheme of this card.  I think it's perfect for a Halloween card.  Here's a list of my teammates playing along today:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you're enjoying our hauntingly good fun this week.  I'll have another card for your spooking pleasure tomorrow!  Have a great day!

Hugs,
Lea

Wicked Wednesday with Sami Stamps

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and today our sponsor is Sami Stamps.  Our theme this week is Trick or Treat and my sweet little image is Whiskers Under My Broom.  I love this image and as soon as I saw it, I new exactly what I wanted to do.  I kept it sweet and simple!

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Neenah® Classic Crest® Solar White Cover Stock
Copic® Markers
White Gelly Roll® Gel Pen by Sakura®
Purple Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image and trim slightly smaller than ATC base size
Create ATC base and set aside
Color image with markers
Adhere image to base

I think this was the easiest ATC I've ever created! We would love for you to play along with our challenge!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll see you again soon!

Hugs,
Lea

P.S. I'll have a Dreamweaver Thursday post this week, Stampendous on Friday and 31 Days of Halloween on Saturday!  Stop back by and take a peek!

Spooky Spellbinders

Hello and welcome to the final day of the Spellbinders® Whimsical Woodland Blog Fest!  I decided to create two different bezel inserts with our Stampendous® stamps, one that fits our woodland theme and another that's a little spookier for Halloween.  I will use a glue dot on the back of each insert to hold it in but it will also allow me to switch them out.  For easy storage, I'll just keep a piece of acetate that I can stick them to when I'm using a different insert!

Here’s what I used to create this bezel and the inserts:

Stampendous®:

Spooky House Perfectly Clear Stamps
Halloween Diamonds Perfectly Clear Stamps
Aged Green Embossing Enamel
Jade PEARLustre™ Embossing Powder
VersaMark™ Watermark Ink Pad
Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink Pad by Tsukineko®

Plus:
Spellbinders® Die Set
Memento™ London Fog Ink Pad by Tsukineko®
Copic® Markers - W0, W1, W4, C1, C3, C4, T4, BV01, BV02, BV04, B91, B93, B95, Y11, Y13, Y32, Y35, Y38, YG11, YG13, YG17, YG93, YG95, G05, G07, E41,E42, E43, E44, E47
Miscellaneous beaded chain
Glue Dots® Adhesives - Craft Dots

Here’s what I did to create this bezel and the inserts:

Die cut two large shields and stamp images
Color images and set aside
Mix embossing enamel and embossing powder in a separate container
Rub VersaMark™ pad around one complete side of bezel
Sprinkle embossing mix on bezel over ink, shake off excess mix and heat
Repeat steps on other side of bezel
Create chain and attach bezel with a jump ring
Add a single bead in bottom hole of bezel

Here’s a list of my teammates that are playing along today:
