Have you seen all the cool new designs from Dreamweaver Stencils? I've used two on my card today and I love them all! For this card I used double-sided sticky paper and embossing powder and I'm really enjoying this technique. The embossing powder has a distressed look and that's right up my alley! For this card I used LG756 Open Elephant and LX7023 Large Scales stencils. All the embossing powders are from Stampendous. I apologize for not having the details at hand but as soon as I do, I'll add the details in. Here's my card:
I let my paper from My Mind's Eye Indie Chic collection guide my color choices and I think they're perfect. I love the Bali-wood feel to this card! I've had to include two pictures of the the card as the gold embossing powder is so reflective it makes it difficult to see the whole elephant. Since we're doing clean and simple for this month's challenge, I kept my accessories simple with skinny gold twine and an oversized brad as my only embellishment.
I hope you like my project today. Here's the list of my teammates that are playing along today:
Terrece Siddoway
Cherylynn Moser
Lyn Bernatovich
Pam Hornschu
Lea Kimmel
If you haven't already checked out their projects, please do and be sure to leave them some love! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again tomorrow.
Hugs,
Lea
