Perfect Pairing with PaperMart

Today, Stampendous is doing a mini blog hop using PaperMart products.  PaperMart has a pretty wide range of products, but, not all of them are paper!  You should make a point of going to their website and taking a look around.  There's a lot to see!  For my project today, I chose to use one of their Gold Window Stackable Steel Tin Cans.  I love little tins of any sort and this was right up my alley.

I happened to notice the tin was the perfect size of an Artist Trading Coin.  I enjoy creating ATC's!  It's fun to see what you can do on such a small scale.  I thought it would be fun to create an ATC with our Frog Yoga Perfectly Clear Stamps Set.  I love this set!  These frogs are just too cute!

Here's what I used to create this tin:

Stampendous® Dreamweaver Stencils Pearlescent Embossing Paste
Stampendous® Mixed Media White Paper
Stampendous® Color Fragments (Retired)
Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink Pad by Tsukineko®
Copic® Markers
DecoArt® Americana® Acrylic Paints
3D Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

I love my little froggy tin!  I hope you'll visit PaperMart and check out their many wonderful products!  I think they pair perfectly with our stamps!  Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again soon!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Lea

Mixing It Up With Tando

The Stampendous Design Team was blessed enough to receive a fun selection of chipboard products, or “chippies” as they are called in the UK, from Tando Creative.  This awesome company is based in the UK, however, they sell quite a few Stampendous products, which, of course, makes us happy!

For my project today, I've used some of the new Stampendous Pink Your Life stamps designed by Nicoletta Zanella.  These stamps are full of charm and designed to make you smile.

Did You Hear Something?

Welcome to the summer hop of mixed media fun with Nathalie Kalbach and her fabulous Foam, Cling Rubber Stamp and Stencil Sets made for Stampendous!  I really wanted to create something fun for my granddaughter.  When I first saw the elephant set, I immediately thought of Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss.  So with that being said, here’s my fun Horton inspired canvas.  You’ll notice that I didn’t create my elephant just like Horton, however, he’s pretty close.

Here’s what I used to create this canvas:

8”x10” Canvas Board by Nicole™

Here’s a list of my teammates playing along today:

Prizes!

There are three lucky commenters during the hop that will each win a prize package that includes all three of Nathalie Kalbach’s Foam, Cling Rubber and Stencil Stamp sets. But WAIT! This is open to everyoneWe’ll announce winners on Monday June 20.
To be eligible, comment on the Stampendous blog and that of each designer’s post for the hop this week. Each comment is an entry! Give a shout out to your place of residence, we want to see how far our hop goes around the world!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoy the hop and, who knows, you might just win a prize!  Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you again soon.

A Little Antiquing Fun

Have you heard about Fran Seiford's new book Stampendous recently released, "Embossing Powder TECHNIQUES from A to Z?"  It's 100 pages of everything you will ever need to know about embossing!  Today I used technique W - Antique Embossing Powder Technique on page 68.  This technique mimics the look of old tin ceiling tiles and is one of my new favorites!

If you need a heat gun to try these embossing techniques, Stampendous now carries the Wagner Embossing Heat Tool.  This has got to be the best heat tool on the market!  I've had one for years and I love it.

For today's card, I've gone a little Western with the Horse and Rider stamp embossed and layered over Leather Flowers background stamp.  My grandfather used to do leather tooling and he created some beautiful pieces, much like this stamp!  I still remember sitting on his lap and "helping."

Here's what I used to create this card:

Memento™ Rich Cocoa Ink Pad by Tsukineko® from Imagine Crafts®
DecoArt® Americana® Sand Acrylic Paint
WorldWin® Papers DoubleMates™ in Totally Tan
Carob Cream Smoothies Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon

Here's a list of my teammates that are playing along today:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll have another cool technique to share with you tomorrow, so, don't forget to drop in again.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Lea

Stampendous, DecoArt & Andy Skinner

Welcome back!  Have you enjoyed this week of creativity with Stampendous and DecoArt?  I don’t know about you but I’m loving the stamps Andy Skinner has designed for Stampendous.   I’m almost sad that today is the last day of the collaboration, however, we’ll still be using all of these amazing products together.

For today’s project I’ve made a sweet little sign I’m going to hang on a wall somewhere in my house, I just haven’t decided where yet.  This was one of those fun projects that all fell in place with looking at one stamp!  Those are my favs!  I painted several different layers onto my little 5”x7” canvas board.  I really wanted it to look like it’s been painted multiple times over the years, I think it does.  Sweet and simple!

Here’s what I used to create this canvas:

Copic® Markers - YR21, YR23, YR24; R30; C1, C4, C5, C6, C7
VersaFine™ Onyx Black Ink Pad by Imagine Crafts®
StāzOn™ Jet Black Ink Pad by Imagine Crafts®
StāzOn™ Ganache Ink Pad by Imagine Crafts®
Basic Grey® True Love Patterned Paper
Faber-Castell® PITT Artist Pen in Black
5”x7” Canvas Board

Here's a list of my teammates playing along today:
