Wicked Wednesday With Oddball Art Company

That's right, it's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time and our sponsor this week is Oddball Art Company by the super talented Lizzy Love!  Our theme this week is Witches, Bats and Black Cats.  My little witch is batty about someone!  Heeheehee!  I've used images #103 and #84 (the wings from the Frankenstein bat).

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Copic® Markers
Shabby Shutters Distress Ink Pad by Ranger®
Eerie Paper Pad by BasicGrey®
Classic Crest™ Solar White by Neenah®
Orange Cardstock by Bazzill®
E-Z Runner® by Scrapbook Adhesives®
3D Foam Mounting Squares™ by Scrapbook Adhesives®
Purple Ink Pen

Hope you'll play along with our challenge this week!  It's a fun one and I'm betting you have some cute witches, bats and black cats in your stash!  So, give us a treat and show us some creative tricks for Halloween!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'll see you again soon.  Hope your Halloween is full of treats!

Hugs,
Lea

Clowning Around

It's October 15th, already!  Only two more weeks until Trick or Treat!  So, it's also time for a new Desert Islands Crafters Challenge and this week our sponsor is Oddball Art Co.  I've used image Casey the Clown #75B for my card.  Here's the list of things to chose from for this challenge, remember, you need to use at least 3.

And here is my card using 1, 3, 4, 7 and 9:

Here's what I used to create this card:

VersaFine™ Onyx Black Ink Pad by Tsukineko® for Imagine®
Memento™ New Sprout Ink Pad by Tsukineko® for Imagine®
VersaMark™ Watermark Ink Pad by Tsukineko® for Imagine®
Copic® Markers
DecoArt® Media™ Matte Medium
Basicgrey® Eerie Paper Pad
Neenah® Classic Crest™ Solar White
Lime Green Bazzill Basics Paper®
Orange Bazzill Basics Paper®
May Arts® Ribbon
E-Z Runner® by Scrapbook Adhesives™

I had a lot of fun playing "mad scientist" and mixing my own embossing powder mix!  I added a little of each of the embossing powders listed above, along with the lime and orange micro glitters.  It's so much fun to mix things up and see what you come up with.  For the corners, I've mixed the lime color fragments with black crushed glass glitter and orange micro glitter.  Fun, fun, fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look!  I hope you're inspired to play along with our challenge and I'll see you again soon!

Hugs,
Lea

Wicked Wednesday with Oddball Art

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog time (actually I'm about 12 hours late!) and this week our sponsor is Oddball Art Co.  Our theme is Happy Halloween!  For this week, I decided to merge two images.  I kept looking at this little cutie, Kendall Collector of Hearts, and kept thinking she would be so cute with a witches hat.  I don't know, there was just something that reminded me of Kiki's Delivery Service with the cute little tie.  I thought it would be a cute little dress for a young witch to wear, one still in training, so to speak.  So, there you have it, I added the hat from Tiffany the Terrible!  I love her new look, I think it suits her!

I also decided to do a front and back to this ATC.  I don't normally do that, however, I just didn't want to add anything else to the front of this one.  I really like the image and she looks like she's in a photo shoot, so...

Here's what I used to create this ATC:

Copic® Markers
Bundled Sage Distress Ink by Ranger®
Dusty Concord Distress Ink by Ranger®
Neenah® Classic Crest™ Solar White Cover Stock
Doodlebug Design Inc.™ Haunted Manor 6x6 Paper Pad
ZipDry™ paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image, color and trim to ATC size allowing for top of hat to go off edge
Edge with distress ink
Trim patterned paper for back side
Adhere front to back
Stamp images onto back side with distress ink

This was a fun ATC to create and I can't wait to see what you create to play along with us!  Let's all have a very Happy Halloween!  See you again, soon!

Hugs,
Lea
