Rubber Ducky You're The One!

Not only do you make bath time so fun but you make cute little packages look pretty darn cute, too!  This particular package is cool because it's recycled or repurposed, whichever way you wish to call it!  This cute little coral box is from James Avery, some of my favorite jewelry of all time, I love it!

I have several of their empty boxes just sitting in a drawer.  They're such a pretty color, I thought it would be nice to find a way to repurpose some.  Along came this cute little stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils and I knew what I wanted to do!

This paper from Basic Grey's What's Up collection was just right for this little project.  I trimmed down two pieces left over from a previous project and using the rubber duck stencil, I added my white paste.

Once the paste was dry, I drizzled a little Beacon Adhesive Zip Dry on the the puddle and sprinkled on some of the light blue glitter from this kit from Stampendous!

After the blue glitter dried, I put a drop of  Zip Dry on the duck and added some of the multi crystal (white) glitter on the duck. Once the duck was dry, I adhered both layers to the top of the box.

Pretty darn cute!  All it needed was a little a little twine to finish it off!

Now I have a cute little box waiting for a small trinket to share!

I hope you like my "Tiny Treat" box!  Here's some more inspiration waiting for you!

Happy Birthday!

Last week was Fran Seiford's birthday.  In case you don't know, Fran is the owner and artist behind all those wonderful stamps at Stampendous.  Happy birthday, Fran!  Anyway, some of us made cards to celebrate her special day and this is the card I created.

The top layer of the cake comes out since I made the bottom layer a pocket!  These cute candles are from the Fifteen Candles Perfectly Clear Set.  I also used a selection of Stampendous glitters, each candle is a different color.

And when you untie the top layer and open it up, it's a mini card with in a card!  I used Timeless Twine to tie the card.  There's a method to my madness, I add the twine to keep the top layer from sinking too far into the bottom layer.  I used Beacon's Zip Dry to adhere the Multi Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter to the drippy goo icing!

And here's the inside sentiment!  This stamp is from the Party Invite Perfectly Clear Set, one of my all time favorites!

Other products used:

Bazzill Paper
Bo Bunny Dots
Bella Blvd Sugar Rush
EK Success Daisy Chain Punch
Martha Stewart Drippy Goo Punch
Queen & Co. Pearls

This is a simple but cute card and I do hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my love for all things Stampendous!  Have a good day and I'll see you back here soon!

Lea

It's Love!

New + Stampendous Stamps = LOVE!  These cute little Kissin Kiddos are no exception!  This adorable smooching duo can be found on page 7 of the new October 2012 catalog.  You should have arrived here from Kristine's blog.  It's always exciting when a new catalog is published, that means there's more Stampendous goodness to get.  Take a peek through the catalog and I bet you'll be making a wish list like me!  So here's my card for the hop today and I do hope you like it:

My card is a 5"x5" square with a base of Bazzill.  My patterned papers are all from the Fancy Pants Designs 6"x6" paper pad called Childish Things.  I don't believe I could have found a better paper choice for this stamp!  My image is colored with Copics, my favorite medium of choice.  Here's a close up of the image:

I love the embarrassed look on his face and the sweet look of love on hers!  I tried to give him just enough of a flush to go with the expression.  The buttons are from my stash and that's Timeless Twine I've used for accent and I've put it all together with Zip Dry from Beacon Adhesives.  Well you have lots of other projects to take a look at so I won't keep you any longer.  There are 3 sur-prizes for today's hop but you are only eligible to win if you leave comments along the way.  Next on the hop is Mary Dawn, one of our new and very talented BlogStars.   Here's the complete hop list:
