Hammock Time

Wouldn't you love to be in a hammock on a beach with the warm glow of the setting sun shining on you?  I know I would!  Here's another adorable new Stampendous® Pink Your Life stamp called Whisper Friends Hammock.  What a great stamp for cards and vacation scrapbook pages, too!

Here's what I did to create this card:

1. Stamp Hammock image on white paper with black ink and color.
2. Using VersaMarker pen along water edge, add Shabby White Embossing Enamel, shake off excess and heat.
3. Trim image closely.
4. Frame image with purple cardstock and adhere image to mat.
5. Fold green cardstock in half for an A2, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch, card base
6. Adhere all layers.

Beach Baby...

From July to the end of September

That song was a classic summer tune and ran through my head in a continual loop the entire time I was creating this card with the new Stampendous® Pink Your Life Whisper Friends Beach Girl.  It was one of those cards that made me feel happy and young as I was creating it.  Certainly a bonus to an already adorable stamp!

Here's what I did to create this card:

1. Stamp image on white paper with black ink and color.
2. Using VersaMarker pen along water edge, add Shabby Chic White Embossing Enamel, shake off excess and heat.
3. Trim image closely.
4. Adhere image to blue cardstock mat.
5. Fold blue cardstock into an A2 card base.
6. Trim a piece of blue patterned paper for background and adhere ribbon as shown, then adhere to card base.
7. Adhere matted image to card base.

Shipwrecked Sailboat

Here’s what I did to create this card:

Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4 1/8” x 5 1/4” to stamp boat image.

Ink boat image with beige ink and carefully wipe ink away from two spots on sails to create faux rips in sails.

Stamp boat in the right center of your card base and color boat only.

Swipe VersaMark ink onto same paper to create beach.

Add embossing powder, tap off excess and heat remaining powder.

Using markers, create water and sky scene.

Create an A2 card base with a tent fold.

Adhere image to card base.

Stamp sentiment onto a piece of white paper with beige ink.

Trim a mat for image and adhere layered sentiment to card front.

Umbrella Shade

Squeakers!  It’s Day 3 of my Stampendous® House-Mouse Designs® week-long showcase!  Today is another day at the beach.  This time our little Muzzy is enjoying some lemonade while sitting in the shade and cooling off with an ice cube.  I don’t now about you, but, I’ve had days at the beach where I’ve wished I could prop my feet up on a big block of ice and literally chill in the shade!

Stamp image with black ink and color with markers.

Trim image to desired size.

Create an A2 card base with a tent fold from orange cardstock.

Trim patterned papers as shown.

Adhere layers.

Stamp sentiment on white scrap, trim and add distress ink.

Trim a mat for sentiment from orange cardstock and adhere together.

Adhere sentiment to card.
