Eureka! It's Wicked Wednesday!

Hey there crafty folks!  Hope you’re having a fun Wicked Wednesday!  Today our Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge sponsor is Eureka Stamps and I love my little Hearty Dragon!  He makes my heart flutter!  I’ve colored him with Derwent Inktense Pencils and I have to say, these pencils are the bomb!  They are truly the most vibrant watercolor pencils I’ve ever used.  Here’s my ATC:

My base is Bazzill and I’m not sure what my patterned paper is as it was a scrap with no name!  My sentiment is from Memory Box.  The heart brads are from my stash. I do hope you’ll get wicked with us this week, it’s so much fun creating these mini works of art!  See you again tomorrow with a post for Stampendous!  Thanks for stopping by!

Deco Lady

Here's another quick post to share a card I created with Deco Lady from Stampendous.  I love the vintage feel of this stamp, she's such a beautiful lady.

I stamped the image using my Boss Gloss Embossing ink and then embossed it with Aged Wine Embossing Enamel from the Purple Encrusted Jewel Kit.  I colored it with Copics and cut it out with a Spellbinders die.  My card base is Bazzill and my patterned papers are Memory Box.  I layered my papers, added my May Arts ribbon bow and decided where I was going to pop my image on with pop dots. I then added a mixture of Powder Blue Color Fragments from the Blue Encrusted Jewel Kit and Royal Purple Glass Glitter from the Purple Encrusted Jewel Kit  using Zip Dry.  I popped my image on and that's it!  Easy peasy and pretty to boot!  I hope you like her as much as I do!  I really love the new Encrusted Jewel Kits, they come in blue, purple and pink.  You can mix the kit contents around and come up with your own combinations like I did here.

So that's it for today; thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again soon!

Lea

Every Day I'm a Wobblin'!

Every day this week the Stampendous Design Team and Action Wobbles Design Team has been wobblin'!  No, we haven't been over-eating and wobblin' out the restaurant door, we've been creating adorable cards for your viewing pleasure with Action Wobbles!  Today I've created a card using the Cling Hula Kiddo stamp from Stampendous and she's hula dancing thanks to the Action Wobbles spring attached to the back side of her head.  Here's the front and a side view of my card:

I created my card with a base of Bazzill and the floral patterned paper from Bo Bunny.  I added a strip of complimentary Bo Bunny paper with a fringe I made using "honey pop" paper.  I added a blue wave cut from Bazzill with a Memory Box die, as well as, a few clouds I cut from Neenah paper, also with a Memory Box die.  As you can see, I stamped my image twice, one I left on the paper I stamped her on, the other I cut out and layered her on with the Action Wobble.  Did I tell you they are sticky on both ends of the spring?  No, well, they are!  She's layered on a Bella Blvd. itty bitty polka dot paper.  I have to say, I absolutely love how this card came out!  Here's a short video clip that shows how cute she is when she "wobbles."

We're going to be giving away:

6 Action Wobbles Springs and

CRV265 Cling Hula Kiddo To one lucky Blog Hopper! AND

6 Action Wobbles Springs  and

CRW076 Tree Trim Kiddos to a second lucky Blog Hopper!! (because we want to see that top Kiddo wobbling with that star!) How can you win? Comment on the blogs below! At the end of the weekend (yes, you have until Sunday night) we'll choose two of the blogs below at random. They will then choose a random winner and we'll notify you here! Here's who is playing today:

Here kitty kitty kitty...

...that's right!  We're previewing the Cheshire Cat, newest image from the Alice in Wonderland Chibis Collection from Simply B Stamps.  This is the Tim Burton version so he's feeling a little blue!  I love how adorable he is, goofy grin and all.  He was a bit of a challenge to color though to make him look like he has fur.

Using the Leafy Branch die from Memory Box, I tried to make it look as though he is sitting amongst the tree branches without detracting from the image itself.  I hope you like my creation and please be sure to stop by the SBS blog to see what the rest of the design team has created.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look and your comments are always appreciated!

Hugs,
Lea

All 7 new stamps
12 Printed Papers
3 Double sided Distress Solids
2 12x12 Sticker sheets

Pretty awesome!!

So here's my card and I have to tell you, I've been saving this paper just for this image.  It's Scenic Route's Surprise paper both front and back over Bazzill as my card base.  My image is on Neenah and colored with Copics.  I used the cool Spider Web die from Memory Box as that little added touch and even though you can't tell in the picture (grrr!) it's shimmery as I spritzed it with Shimmer Spritz.  Simple but cute in my humble opinion.  I hope you like her and I hope you've enjoyed the preview for this super cute collection.  It has certainly been fun creating with them.  Oh, I almost forgot to mention, I styled her hair after our very own Alison's.  I always love the way Alison colors hair and this is kindof my tribute to her!  LOL!

Please go to simplybettystamps.blogspot.com and check out the other awesome creations the design team has created.  We sure do aim to please and love your enthusiasm for all things Betty!

See you soon with a cute Valentine or two.  Thanks for stopping by!

So, now that the business end of this has been taken care of, let's take a look at Beep Beep Oscar!  Is he ca-ute or what!?

He's on Neenah and colored with Copics.  The other papers are Bazzill and Echo Park's Playground.  I did cut out two of the arrows and pop-dot them over the layered image.  I also used some of my Tim Holtz grungeboard letters to spell Zoom that I colored with my Copics.  A simple card that would be great for a boy's birthday .

Next up is my Just Betty card.  Another simple card but certainly cute none the less.

Again, she's on Neenah and colored with Copics.  The patterned and plain papers are 3 Bugs in a Rug and Bazzill.  I also used a Memory Box die to layer around her with a few rhinestones I had in my stash.  Both are cute and simple and I hope you have enjoyed my creations.

Don't forget, the next person in the hop is

Rebecca

Thanks so much for joining me today!  I hope to see you back soon.

Hugs,
Lea

Tilda is Thinking of You!

Here's a cute little Tilda and you know she's thinking about you!  This is one of the cards I'm doing in my class this Saturday at Enchanted Cottage.  She is such a cutie and great fun to color.  The papers are Bazzill and Memory Box.  The pearls and ribbon are from my Cottage stash.  I also used Nestabilities, a Martha Stewart punch and a an EK Success punch.  Of course she's colored with Copics.  Hope you like her!
