Shake, Shake, Shake SeƱora...

That's right!  It's Lydia!  Isn't she wonderful!?  She's our newest image from Simply B Stamps Burton Chibis collection and I just love her!

My image is on Neenah and colored with Copics.  Unfortunately the colors I used for her are hiding with the colors I used on Beetlejuice.  My base is Bazzill and I used more of the Rusty Pickle paper from the Addams Family collection and the same funky green "ribbon" I used on yesterday's Beetlejuice card.  I wanted the two of them to flow together!

I created my own "Neitherworld" background again with my Copics and my airbrushing system.  I just thought it would be something fun and different to do.  I hope you like it!  My sentiment was created with Publisher.  I distressed it with Tim Holtz rusty hinge distress ink just to lose some of the whiteness.

Well here she is and I do hope you like my creation.  Thanks for stopping by and please come back tomorrow for the next preview.  Don't forget to go by the blog and check out the rest of the design team's creations.  We aim to please!

Hugs,
Lea

It's showtime!

Beetlejuice!  Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!  Yep, he's our next Burton Chibi being released by Simply B Stamps!  I don't know about you, but I love Beetlejuice!  He's so obnoxious he's cute.  I could never understand how Lydia could be so patient with him.  He certainly made for interesting entertainment.

I hate to admit this but I colored him a while back and for the life of me I can't remember the exact colors I used.  However, he is on Neenah and he is colored with my Copics.  I know I initially colored his skin with cool grays and his hair with warm grays but the two just didn't mix so I went back over his skin with some neutral grays first and then some warm grays.  I do know his shirt is done with V12, V15 and V17.  His striped suit is done with cool grays and E40, E41 and E42.  I had all the colors written down but I have placed them in a safe place and there they shall remain until I stumble across them.  I do apologize for not being more exact.

I can tell you that the background is one that I created with my Copics.  I drew the design, which really didn't require much!  For the life of me I can't remember exactly what they looked like but I do remember there being giant worms that popped out of the ground in "Neitherworld."  So, with much creative license, I drew my rendition of how I thought they should appear.  The sky is done with YR15 and YR18; the ground is done with YG93, YG95, YG97 and YG99 along with C6, C7 and C9.  My worms are colored with V12, V15 and V17.   The patterned paper is from Rusty Pickle's Addams Family collection and my base is Bazzill.  I also used some really cool May Arts "ribbon" across the bottom just to add some texture.

As I recall, one of his favorite things to say was "It's showtime!"  I created my sentiment in Publisher and then tried to kind of "tacky it up" with Stickles and rhinestones.  Beetlejuice was always a little over the top so I've done my best to recreate that feel.

Well, there you have it!  My first ever Beetlejuice card.  I do hope you've enjoyed him and that you'll stop back by tomorrow for another preview.  Please go to the blog and check out what the others on the design team have created for your viewing pleasure.  Thanks for taking a look and a special thanks for those of you that leave comments as they mean a lot!

Hugs!
