Hummingbird Wishes

It's time for a sneak peek into the Stampendous® January 2019 Catalog!  I'm sharing this card I created using the new Stampendous® Laurel Burch™ Hummingbird Wishes Perfectly Clear™ Stamp Set.  I love, love, LOVE this set!  I just called to me to be colored!  I'm sure you totally understand what I'm talking about.  Do you see that lovely blue-ish/purple-ish background?  That was created with Distress Oxide inks.  The rest is colored with Copics.  Pretty darn yummy, huh!?

Sunny Hello


How about a Sunny Hello as we welcome in the April Stampendous catalog!?  I think the whole DT fell in love with this stamp!  It's such a happy little sun, what's not to love?

Brushed Wishes and Birthday Mischief



Are you in love with the brushed style writing that is so popular right now?  I am, and, I have to admit, I stink at it!  Oh yeah!  There's just something about the way you hold the pen that I can't seem to grasp.  Well, now I don't have to worry about it because Stampendous!® has taken care of it for me!  This week has been all about our beautiful new brushed sentiments and the brushed alphabet that's super cool.  For my card I've used Brushed Wishes Perfectly Clear™ Stamp Set along with the super cute House-Mouse® Designs Birthday Mischief Rubber Stamp.

  7. Stamp sentiment and die cut the various elements as shown
  8. Adhere sentiment to card

Gift Giving

This week at Stampendous® , we're showcasing our adorable House-Mouse® Designs!  My card today is the Stampendous® House-Mouse® Designs stamp named Gift Giving.   It's a favorite of mine because I always enjoyed being the Santa for my kids when they were growing up.  It did my heart good to watch them open their gifts and know they are so pleased and thankful for what they received.

Lighthouse Christmas


"You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town..."


In the meantime, Santa has been hanging out with Stampendous and we have some awesome stamps featuring jolly old St. Nick and his travels.  My card today features Lighthouse Christmas.  Apparently Rudolph is MIA but this lighthouse is showing Santa the way.

Trick or Treat?



Trick or Treat!  It's Day 20 of the 31 Days of Halloween and my card today features Haunted Hill Rubber Stamp from Stampendous.  Given the opportunity, I would so love to live in this house!  The spooky vibe just thrills my heart to the core.  Years ago when I was just a kid, this is the kind of house I would be scared to Trick or Treat at but I would do it anyway just to prove I'm not a chicken!  LOL!  I love Halloween and all of the fun and scariness that comes with it! And, yes, in case you think you're seeing double, my card was used for part of the banner design, which is always an honor.

  5. Sprinkle on Olive Opaque Embossing Powder, shake off excess powder and heat sentiment.
  6. Trim sentiment closely.
  7. Trim green cardstock in a horizontal A2 size with a tent fold.
  8. Trim a mat for image and sentiment from black cardstock.
  9. Adhere sentiment to mat and set aside.
  10. Adhere layers as shown.
  11. Adhere sentiment as shown to card front with foam squares.
