Perfectly Stampendous



Welcome to another day of the Stampendous hop with the awesome folks and talented designers at Perfect Paper Crafting!  I am loving their Perfect Tools!  Today I’ve used the Color Spritzer to add some fun colors to my project along with a couple of awesome Stampendous Dreamweaver Stencils celebrating the arrival of Fall!

Don't you just love the texture on embossed leaves?  It's a technique called Molten Magic and you can learn how to do that super easy technique and a bunch of others with Fran's book, Embossing Powder Techniques From A-Z.

Wicked Wednesday with Miezo Digi Stamps

Wicked Wednesday with AMB Illustrations

It's time for another Wicked Wednesday ATC Blog Challenge and this week our sponsor is AMB Illustrations.  We've got a fun theme this week, Christmas in July!  The image I've used is from the set Christmas Birds, one of several adorable birds in a set mixed with Christmas decor.  They're all super cute and it was not easy to pick just one to feature.

VersaMarker™ Watermark Pen by Tsukineko® for Imagine Crafts®
Staedtler® Black Pen
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image, color and fussy cut the top have of the image only.
Trim your patterned paper for the base to ATC size.
Adhere trimmed image to base.
Sprinkle on chunky embossing enamel and heat.
Using the VersaMarker Watermark Pen, add ink across the top of the "snow drifts" and add Kaleidoscope embossing powder and heat.
Write message in corner with black pen.

Here's what I did to create this ATC:

Print image, color and fussy cut.
Create ATC base from patterned paper.
Trim a piece of the same patterned paper 1/4" smaller than the ATC.
Using the opposite side of the patterned paper, adhere image lining up bottoms as shown.
Adhere matted image to ATC base.
Write sentiment over the top of the caravan.

Trim ATC base and patterned papers as shown.
Adhere striped patterned paper to polka dot paper.
Create bow from twine and adhere to patterned paper as shown.
Write sentiment on scrap strip of paper, trim words and ink edges.
Adhere image to ATC using foam squares.

Print image, color, trim closely and edge with distress ink
Use a scrap of white to write sentiment, trim and edge with distress ink
Create ATC base from lavender cardstock
Trim patterned paper to 2.25" w by 3.25" h
Adhere all layers as shown
Attach puffy bat

I love the colors I've used on this ATC, the ultimate Halloween colors!  I simply love this time of the year.  If you're a Halloween freak like me, let me know!  It's always fun to find like-minded ghoulfriends!  Yeah, okay, that was hokey!  LOL!  Hope you'll come and play along with us this week!  See you again soon!

Oodles of Doodles



At Stampendous, we've had a fun week of sharing projects with doodles and tangles, today is our last day for this particular theme.  My card today is done with our new PenPattern Elephant and it's ready for doodles or tangles or just color or both.  That's the lovely thing about our PenPattern stamps, they're ready for whatever your imagination can come up with!  Here's my card today and it has oodles of doodles!


I tried to give it a little bit of a Persian/Indian flair or maybe even a bit of a circus look.  I just had fun and let the PenPattern lines lead me.  I really love how this turned out!

Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®
Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Memento™ London Fog Ink by Tsukineko®
Ribbon by May Arts®
Staedtler® Pigment Liner 308
Copic® Markers (C1, C3, C4, C5)
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives
3D Foam Mounting Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives® by 3L®

Here's what I did to create this card:


Stamp elephant on white cardstock.
Doodle areas as shown.
Color remaining areas with gray markers.
Trim image to desired size.
Create an A2 card base with a tent fold.
Trim a mat for main image from black cardstock.
Adhere image to mat and then to card base.
Stamp sentiment in black ink on white cardstock.
Trim sentiment to desired size.
Trim a mat to fit sentiment from black cardstock.
Adhere sentiment to mat.
Cut ric-rac to fit width of card and attach as shown.
Attach sentiment to card with foam squares as shown.
