It's fun in the sun time again with another collaboration between Stampendous and Dreamweaver Stencils! We'll be playing together all of this week, with a fabulous hop on Friday, August 2nd, featuring a slew of amazing talent from both teams, and of course...prizes!!!
Two prize packages will be given away for the comments left on posts Monday-Thursday, July 29th - August 1st, and one prize will be given away for comments left on the hop day, Friday, August 2nd. Winners will be selected randomly and announced Thursday, August 8th. (Note: USA addresses only, please, due to shipping costs.) Here's what you could win:
Stampendous Surfer and Sandcastle Kiddos • Dreamweaver Hot Air Balloon, Ice Cream Cones, Summer, Mosaic Swirls, Bird Words, and Sandcastle stencils |
Here's what I created:
For my project I used Dreamweaver Stencil LL 3033 Sandcastle, LL 332 Picasso (to make my clouds), Stampendous Sandcastle Kiddo, and Sandy Kiddos Digital Download for the sentiment. I created my clouds first with the Picasso stencil and Memento Summer Sky ink pad and a sponge, then paste embossed my sandcastle with white embossing paste on Neenah Classic Crest. Once dry, I colored the paste with my Copic markers. I stamped my image with Memento and colored it with Copic markers, fussy cut the image and set it aside. I created my card base (Bazzill), layered my patterned paper (Bo Bunny's C'est La Vie Collection) with my stenciled piece and prior to adhering, I added my May Arts ribbon. I printed off my sentiment, added ink to the background with Memento Summer Sky and a sponge, then adhered it to the patterned paper and then the card. The last step was using pop dots to adhere the Sandcastle Kiddo to the card front. That's it! Pretty simple and kinda cute! Now, hop on over to the next in line. Don't forget to leave some love for a chance to win, and just 'cuz it's nice!
Thanks for stopping by, I'll have another project for you tomorrow! See you then!
Hugs,
Lea
